Ed Neuhauser 1973-2025
Those of you who came along to the 2024 Bellowhead tour will remember our wonderful helicon player and dear friend Ed Neuhauser taking centre stage for the introduction to Fire Marengo. What you wouldn’t have realised is that Ed had been diagnosed with a brain tumour twelve months previously. Thankfully his chemo went very well, and with characteristic strength and determination he went ahead with the Bellowhead tour. As far as anyone knew, he was fully recovered. Tragically, in October this year, he discovered that the cancer had come back. We are unbelievably sad to have to tell you all that Ed passed away on Christmas Eve surrounded by his family. All our love goes out to his wife Cathryn and his two wonderful children James and Beth. Working with Ed has always been an immense source of joy for us all and we are devastated by his loss.
